Re: Rusted Rear Fenders/Quarters/Hatch - Salvage Replacement
Thanks for all the great information guys. I was hoping that the rear quarters were replaceable panels, but I now see the task at hand is quite a different story. Finding a donor car/junker and removing pieces to weld in place is far beyond my expectations....it does sound like getting someone who d...

Rusted Rear Fenders/Quarters/Hatch - Salvage Replacement?
Hey All- I've got a '93 MX3 GS in need of some TLC when it comes to some nasty rust that's developed on the rear of the car...specifically the rear fenders/quarter panels (both sides) and a spot on the rear decklid. I figured it would probably be more cost effective to just try and find salvage part...

Re: Body & Paint - '93 MX3-GS
Huh, now there's something I hadn't really thought about before. If I can find anyone that does that kinda thing and is decent at it, that'd be a great option. Might be tricky to find, but I really appreciate the great idea.

Body & Paint - '93 MX3-GS
Hi All, Only having done basic touch up paint here and there in the past, I figured the best thing to do would be to present a couple general questions to the experts on the forum to try and avoid throwing a lot of $$ away. I'm looking at getting several rust spots taken care of as well as a repaint...

Re: SRD Performance - Nylatron Control Arm Bushings Don't Fi
Huh......well, they're a pretty experienced shop so I'd hope they wouldn't make a simple mistake like that. (shrug) Thanks in advance for checking. I guess I'm trying to figure out if these these will be worth anything to someone since I obviously can't use them now. Hoping they can find some use, a...

SRD Performance - Nylatron Control Arm Bushings Don't Fit?
Hey All, I had gone and bought the SRD Performance nylatron control arm bushings way back when (about 5 years ago), but never got around to installing them. Finally admitting I wasn't going to have to time (or patience) to get to them, I decided to have my local shop put them in for me. Unfortunatel...

Re: Suspension Parts Revamp - Laundry List Question
That's awesome, thanks fellas....so added to my list: sway bar bushings (F+R), control arm ball joints, strut mounts (F+R)
If I get all crazy I'll do the Whiteline rear sway bar. Depends on time and $$$

Hey Bro, Not sure why I didn't know about this work log section before, but it's awesome to see you making such great progress on this swap. I really can't wait to see the finished product....you must be buzzed with the anticipation of having it done. I caught my ghetto, beat-up H&R box in one o...

Re: Source of Unknown Fluid Leak
Just posting a follow-up to this issue of mine. Had some stuff done to the car to prep it for winter and had the local mechanic look at it. Basically it appears the oily spots I was seeing as leaks were a result of a small gap in part of the custom exhaust I have for the car. I have a KLZE with the ...

Re: Source of Unknown Fluid Leak
I've had small oil leaks from under the engine before, but not anything I've noticed recently. The small 'pool' I noticed this morning was very odd. The main portion of the liquid was clear (not rainwater), but mixed on top of that was the dark, brackish, oily liquid. I smelled the dark liquid, and ...

Re: Source of Unknown Fluid Leak
Thanks for the reply- What I saw today was driver's side...but it appeared more towards the center when I noticed it before that. I was perhaps going to guess at brake fluid as the source, but I didn't expect that it would be blackish in color? I guess I'd see a reduction in fluid in the brake fluid...

Source of Unknown Fluid Leak
Hi Guys, Have a '93 GS with 137000 miles. I just started to notice a fluid leak of some kind that appears to be originating near the rear underportion of the car. Say, underneath the gas tank area maybe. I can't tell where it's coming from and I'm not in the best position to be able to jack the car ...
