Re: need some info please
yes if you unplug the negative battery cable then your computer will relearn the fuel map. it doesn't have to be for 2 hours though. unplug it for 5 mins and hit the brake, then hook it up again. let your car idle for 5 mins without touching the gas.

Re: coilovers
you don't HAVE to change the struts. your car will handle better if you do. and you will probably ruin your stock ones after awhile because they are not made to be used with lowering springs or coilovers.

Re: WTB: 1.6L DOHC motor
ok i got the quote it's $300 from your house to my house. that's really expensive... BUT, if you could bring it to a business address (like to where you work or something), and if i pick it up from where I work, then it will only cost $160.

Re: Shifting question!!
i read an article on double clutching. the guy who wrote it said that it was useless since transmissions have synchros. unless of course your synchro is going out or something.

Re: electric supercharger????
don't waste your time/money. that guy is a moron. <p>he claims "They are safe, easy to install and remove, and will not void your engines warranty in any way."<p>general rule: if a company claims "doesn't void your engines warranty", it's because it doesn't work. kind of like tho...

i'm thinking if you cut a compressed spring it's gonna snap real hard and break the car...or your face. good luck working with the torch in the wheel well too. keep us posted on how it works.

Re: wtb: black paint for spoiler
go to the local auto parts store and buy some in the rattle cans... you will be able to find something that will match. and it won't chip since not many rocks fly up by your spoiler. be sure to prep it well though.
