was the stealth a V6. if it was maybe each turbo was running off of 3 cyl. then the turbo wouldn't be very big...

i have the same car, and same problem. the actual defroster on the window is fine and so is the switch on the dash. i'm guessing it's either a fuse or a wire. i'm gonna check all the fuses tommorow.

if it's on top of the headers it would be a valve cover gasket. as for the accelerating problem, maybe you clutch is slipping and when it starts to grab it causes the RPMs to drop because it actally is pulling a load then???<p>and no idea on the idling problem

i just picked the decals off my car with my finger nail. there is a little adhesive left after you pull it off but it comes of with soapy water. once you get a corner of the sticker off then it comes off really easy

the struts on the ZX2 might be tokicos actually. the ones on the escort GTs were i believe.

if your trans shifts before the turbo spools then you won't have the lag. sounds like you pretty much know what to do...i havn't done it myself but i researched alot about it. i've heard it will go much faster if you have air tools to use on the spring compressor. the bolt on your strut SHOULDN'T be rusted. but it actually doesn't matter since you won't have to take your ...

the spring and strut come out in one unit. you only need the compressor to remove/install the spring on the strut.
