i bet your idle problem is because you aren't using the idle air control valve. even if you have already wired it up it won't work because the MS&S doesn't know when the engine is at 0% throttle because you have no TPS. P.S. your MS&S may not run your IACV very well even when it is working &...

are you running a check valve? i've heard of people ruining their master cylinder because they don't have a check valve so their master cylinder is getting boost pressure to it. something about a diaphram if i remember correctly. anyways, on a related topic, does anyone know where you can buy a chec...

throwing an engine rod and/or running the engine without oil will not cause the disty or wires to be "fried". if your disty worked fine, you might as well keep using it. replace your wires if they need it, if not they should swap right over to the BP.

no you don't need to bleed it..all the air will be pushed out through the overflow tank. just make sure you check the coolant level often when you first replace it. if you replace it and your engine still overheats (and coolant isn't leaking), you could have an airlock in the engine somewhere... usu...

check other places for leaks, such as the hoses that connect to the radiator and also the hoses going to the heater core.

Kia Sephia Speedo gear (part that goes into tranmission, not the cable)
are you talking about the speed sensor? if so is it cable or electrically driven?

if it is cable driven, are there electrical ones that will fit (that you know of)?

yea JW your exhaust is crazy...maybe i will just get a resonator and regular dual outlet muffler.

also JW, is that a regular BP motor...just asking because your disty is on the "wrong" camshaft...

*EDIT* oops just saw that it is a B6T, my bad.

yea i think the wire you are talking about would be to a (+) source. if i'm not mistaken, the PWMs always act as the ground.

i'm just saying that i would go with a rebuilt one rather than a junk yard part...especially when they are similarly priced. i would rather keep putting in free ones covered under warranty than paying $50 everytime it goes bad.

i would say get your starter from a parts store. they aren't much more than $50 (rebuilt) and they have a lifetime warranty. you must not of looked very hard for your starter...it's on the back side of the block. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/353000-353999/353518_53_full.jpg if y...
