i would say sticking thermostat, the temp can drop pretty quick when they open.

you might as well try it to rule it out if nothing else, they are really cheap and easy to replace.

Yea my axle has 8,000 miles on it. it's the shaft that slides into the tranny (the part with the splines) that moves around a bit though so i don't think it could be CV wear. it is a reman axle though.

the noise isn't really a popping sound like when you have a worn CV joint either.

basicaly what im saying is that it takes a long time for the cold air, at least a good ammount of it, to get to the throttle body so basicaly you add another filter on there to sort of help it suck a little more air in for a little more off the line bost... your theory seems flawed to me. let's say...

look for coolant in the oil and oil in the coolant. you could also try to pull the ecu codes since the light came on.

for the gas pedal problem i would check out the throttle cable. does the throttle stick at all or is it just hard to push down? as for the the swap/rebuild question, i would say swap if you like to have fun with the car. if you just want good gas mileage do a rebuild.

i may have problems switching out the bracket. the b6 and bpt brackets are bolted to the block differently. that's why i had to keep my bpt bracket. how does the millenia bracket bolt up? my bpt just has 2 bolts. the bracket is pretty much just a flat piece of metal that looks kinda like this: http:...
