Re: s-afc and fmu Q
I just have one question... i could probably find this info somewhere else....BUT im gonna ask here anyway. Since the K series ECU doesn't read VAF signal at WOT how the hell do you use a computer to deal with that situation? Can you use a computer at all at that point, or do you just run enough fue...

Re: "Clunking"
gro how did you modify yours? I'd like to be able to eliminate some of the clunking from my car... i finally heard my car hit a bump while I was on the outside (friend drove it) and he went over a speedbump a little hard and MY GOD the noise it made was awful.... SOOOO loud... its just sad.

Re: Intake maifold question.
well i dunno for sure but i would assume you want a gasket for a K8 since you are using the K8 manifold, i can't think of any good reason that wouldnt work. i would assume the gasket made for a specific manifold would work better on that manifold rather than a gasket that is made for a different man...

Re: Washington and Oregon MX'ers!!!!!
I'm in/around Tacoma (WA), but I have a huge motivation problem so unless there is a meet extremely local I probably wouldn't make it out of the house... i don't see enough time away from work to do a whole lot...but I like the idea.

This here is a good example of why i don't want to live with other human beings on the same planet.

i saw mx-3 w/ GS front lip on rear
I saw an MX-3 today near where i live and when i looked at the rear i saw something i couldn't recognize right away....it was the GS front lip spoiler on the rear bumper. it was weird looking to say the least but in my opinion it was one of the better looking body mods for the rear that i have ever ...

Re: boost +V6???
Off topic a bit but what do you do with the VAF with a turbo setup? Do you keep the thing or does it get funky under boost? Kind of a silly question but not one I've heard asked before.

Re: anyone with 18" wheels?
I've got 18x7's on my car right now, the only reason 18x7s wouldn't fit is if you got the wrong bolt pattern or wrong offset, but 4x100 is the correct one (95% sure of that).I don't remember what offset to get... I'm also lowered on GCs. I do see a TINY bit of rubbing, but only if I've got the wheel...

fuel injector size for V6?
Yes I did some searching, but obviously most of this forum is BPT or other 4cyl turbo stuff, not much out there for V6 guys. Just out of curiosity I was wondering what fuel injectors (size/brand/anything) would be ideal for 10-12 psi on a KLDE? I'm a newb when it comes to turbo. With a fuel computer...

Re: H&R owners, I got a question
Sam: I got the GCs with rates of 300f 250r which is stiff, so it is a *worse* ride than the H&Rs were, but I enjoy my stiff spring handling, so in my opinion the roughness doesn't matter at all. Since you seem to want a pretty smooth ride, you should consider GC anyway, because when you order th...

Re: Widest Tire on 15" rims
It depends on the width of the wheel, which I believe the stock GS 15 inch wheel was 6.5 inch, which would limit the tire size to 215 (i'm pretty sure), or possibly 205. I have 7 inch wide wheels and it will hold a 225, but I'm sure a 225 would rub like mad hell so i got 215. The best way to find th...

Re: H&R owners, I got a question
I'm actually like 20 minutes outside of Federal Way =) Dude if you have money buy GCs. They are worth every penny. It would be worth waiting for if that helps. I bought the H&Rs because I was kinda in a rush to make my car look better but in the end, I wanted a better suspension set-up, so I bou...

Re: H&R owners, I got a question
Yes the ground controls are awesome, I got rates of 300f 250r. It makes a remarkable difference, even compared to the H&R springs which are pretty good. I enjoyed the H&Rs but I absolutely love the GCs.
