Time for my ZE
Well, I have the cash now and I'm going to be buying a KL-ZE very soon. I want quality, of course, so I'm asking all you guys your final opinion before I actually buy anything. As you prob know by my sig, I'm putting in a LSD tranny as well. Here are the prices of some of the companies that have wri...

Re: CD Player
No, man. Besides the little pinkinsh dots (that are on all the wires coming from the car) that one's all red. As far as I know, all the wires inside are the stock wires. I look inside and they are all still kinda attached to the side wall of the console (don't really know how to explain it, ...

Re: is this a real klze?
I haven't heard of anyone who's gotten a good engine from Osaka yet. I know Talon 66 got a real ZE, but it was a straight neck when they told him it was a curved. He's also got all sorts of crap goign on with it right now. These guys really suck. Who can say...

CD Player
Hey, guys, got a problem. I had a nice player in my RS. It got rear-ended. I bought a GS, and put the good player in. I then fixed my RS to be my daily driver during my GS-R project. Now I've put the semi-crappy CD Player that came with my GS in my RS just so I can have some music. Well, I hooked th...

Re: plowed..
Oh yeah, the plates we used were made by my old man; he's a welder. If you want a car to dump cash into, you'll prob want to use the ins. $$ for a new one. Keep yours. I think it's worth a try to do it yourself.
Hope all that helps!

Re: plowed..
WOW! This is almost exactly what happened to me last October, but at least you got money from the ins. co. I got hit by a Bubba in his big ole bubba truck. My poor RS was hit more on the driver's side though. The driver was going around 30-45 mph as well. I have a small buckle behind both the gas ta...

Re: ATX 93 Nitemare Like know of U have seen.
(3) is prob your answer. I just replaced the tranny in my RS with a rebuild and bought a new torque converter. I also installed a small intercooler (about 6"x12"x3/4") in between the two grills and hooked the hoses up to it. When you destroy your tranny, alot of the crap makes itself ...

Re: Is this the 195hp 2.5L?
It means the intake manifold is either curved or straight. Straight comes with the KL-31 cams and curved comes with the KL-01 cams. The main problem for us is that the straight neck mani won't bolt up in our little cars without more modding than it's worth. That's why you either go with the curved f...

Dude, this guy needs to burn. I like knowing that most of the people on this site can be trusted. If we can't trust people on here, we have no real purpose for the site. Someone coming in to ruin our little neighborhood must be punished, even if he does give the money back.

Re: Where Can I Get a Used ATX?
Guess I should have replied sooner; I already bought a rebuilt tranny with a new torque converter for $700. I put it in yesterday and just have to connect all the little stuff when I get home tonight. So, thanks for the offer, but I'm taken care of now!

Re: Got Rear Ended
Hey, man, I didn't even know you got hit. I got rear-ended by a local Bubba in his Bubba Truck. I thought for sure it was gonna be totaled. It would have been, but Bubba didn't believe in having insurance on his monster. So I kept my RS. Anyways, I just recently straightened out the frame "Midd...

Yeah, I was sying that I'd not known that Mazdaspeed came out with a LSD tranny for their protege. I also didn't know how closely related they are. Thanks for the link, Steeb!
