Are Valve guides expensive to replace?
have had some trouble with this myself.
I recently replaced my cat. though, and it seems to have reduced the blue smoke alot.
A busted cat. can`t make blue smoke I guess?
(better to ask than to remain ignorant) ;P
nope-mx3

Re: Front Seat Covers
This is something I wonder about too, since my drivers seat has started to tear on the bottom part. Checked with Mazda here in Norway, and they wanted about $230 for just the bottom part cover.. If some companies has made some custom seatcovers specifically for the Mx3, I would be very interested :)...

Re: The whiss sound when car shifts.
If you wondered about the woosh sound, I believe that`s the dump-valve, not the wastegate, that makes that sound

Well, I might be wrong though, as my 1.8 v6 lacks a fan or two

(now, twin-turbo mx3 should be fun me thinks)

Re: tires and sizes
215/50-15 should work I guess.
225/45-15 also

I think my mx3 handles extremely good with
215/40-17.
I just lack a complete mazdaspeed lowering kit, but it`s on the planning for the spring

Re: 19's on mx-3
I believe that 215/40-18 should work just nicely.
Here in Norway, the mx3 is approved on 215/35-18 without any bodywork.
I would guess it might be possible to use 19`s if you find a rim with the correct offset. On a non lowered mx3 you got lot`s of wheelgap to play with :)
Only problem I can t...

Re: Eibach vs H&R
Everyone I have talked to say that H&R is much stiffer, but don`t lower as much as they claim.
Eibach is a good brand, but some say they are pretty soft. Atleast they lower the car as much (or little) as they say

Re: Springs & Shocks for a `92 Mx3
Hmm, Mazdaspeed springs lower it by 30mm, and they are recommended with the mazdaspeed struts.
I think I`m going with this combo. Should be killer I think
