Re: recipe for tuned NA motor (all-motor)
Just keep in mind MOST of your horse power is in the HEAD. The only draw back to doing the SOHC is the head won't flow NOTHING like the B6T or BPT's heads, not to mention they also have the cams profiled specificaly for turbo charging which helps give them a broader power band & more top end pow...

Re: Help with motor gear (emergency)!!!!
How hard do you drive your car??? It maybe a broken diffenential in the tranny. I've broken 2 of them F25-R's. The first time I was spinning tires like any idiot after repalcing the axles cuz I broke both CV joints. It spun them hard all the way through first and then POW I heard it break (broke it ...

Re: more clutch/flywheel probs +Q's
What's up Shady. Use your MX-3's flywheel & clutch on the B6T. I wouldn't recommend shaving your stock flywheel. Not only does it hold energy but it also functions as a heat sink for you clutch. Shave to much & you'll score the flywheel & or possible explode the flywheel. The best approc...

Re: recipe for tuned NA motor (all-motor)
Just swap in a B6T or BPT. They only way you'll get labeled a racer is if your racing or make your car flashy. When I first did my B6T every body that had me pop the hood swore I was lying when I told them it is turbo charged. There first question was always..."Where is your turbo?". Even ...

The Pro-LX tranny is the G25M-R, same as V6 MX-3 GS. The differance is the Pro-LX's G25M-R uses a different diff & axles than than the MX-3 GS's G25M-R. Those of you looking for a affordable GOOD limited slip setup...wait a little longer! The new MAZDASPEED protege it using the a diff that is sw...

Re: wet or dry system on the B6T?
Deffinately good with a WET nitrous kit! It is your safest bet for now and later. Direct port fogger systems are the most effective. However you could go for a single fogger somewhere after the turbo, before the throttle body. NOS makes a NOSzle WET nitrous kit that would work (75-150HP adjustable)....

Re: supercharging a rs
The B6T in my car w/ my setup is turning around a 13.5 sec 1/4 mile (HORRIBLE 60ft times due to poor traction!). There are a lot of variables to deal with such as Intercooler & fuel system effeciency, which will make a BIG difference in the times it is capable of. The motor has endless capabilit...

Re: Nitrous in a 1.6L?
P.S.<P>Our motors are MUCH stronger than that guy's Civic DX motor. Most of the Honda's...including the Civic DX motor...use what is called an OPEN DECK. The OPEN DECK design is GREAT for a high reving all motor design. OPEN DECK is where the cylinder walls have a space around them, this space is fi...

Re: Nitrous in a 1.6L?
I'd run high octane pump gas (92 or higher) & upgrade the fuel pump. Also... retard the timing a few degrees just to keep it safe from detination. If your gonna be running anything over a 50HP shot your putting your you know what on the time line. I'd recommend a 70-100 shot of WET nitrous. Ther...

Re: TB COOLANT LINES TO TC
Hmmmm lets think about that comment on the "hot end of the cooling system". Take a look at your radiator...it's the coolest point in the system. Now look at the hose that carries coolant from your radiator to the themostat. Now from their it goes to cool the head right? Well then...where i...
