Re: Raced a Talon TS-I
I have some friends around here that are DSM nuts! The Talon TSI is turbo, either FWD or AWD he would have SMOKED you by several cars in the quarter. The 1st Gen 4G63 Turbo motor puts out 195HP with 203ft/lb torque. The 2nd Gen 4G63 Turbo motor puts out 210HP with 215ft/lb of torque. Granted they we...

Re: Turbonetics Deltagate assistance
Well you could give Corksport a ring and ask Derrick for details about it. Or you could call Turbonetics @ 1-909-824-1020.
What turbo & manifold are you using???

Re: Problems with turbo mx...HELP!
I can tell you from first hand experiance that the SOHC fuel injectors are to small. The retards I orginal had the motor put in by (I've redone pretty much everything they did half a$$) didn't check the B6T's injector's resistance and assumed they were low impedance injectors. So they put in the SOH...

I'd suggest you call Majestic Turbo & have them do a rebuild. It sounds like an oil seal leaking.
Majestic:

Re: opinions on best clutch kit for ...
I'd say your probably better off runing the stock wastgate setting. It would be easier on the clutch, esecially in an emergancy situation if you had to punch it to avoid an accident!

Re: march 1/8th mile times.....
Would have had a high 8-9.00sec 1/8 mile pass today but the car wouldn't go into 2nd gear, so I had to slow down from 40mph down to 30mph to get it back in first cuz it just wouldn't hit second. I spun all the way through first and second, chirping 3rd for a :
13.3?? @ 73.?mph
I was PISSED OFF...

Re: opinions on best clutch kit for ...
I think you'll be VERY please with the results!!! Just remember that the 300-500mile BREAKING IN period will have a HUGE affect on how your clutch performs and lasts. If you don't break it in and start getting on the car hard or doing high RMP gear changes during the break in period, it could very l...

Re: opinions on best clutch kit for ...
I'd recommend you call Derrick @ Corksport...
He set me up with the same ACT clutch kit they are using in ther 11sec 1/4 mile Protege. It sliped on me a little at first because of a leaky rear main seal. Once I replaced the rear main...it dried out & has sliped since. I had my car hanging with...

Re: ITS ALIVE!!!!!! (for real)
No it isn't the head gasket. I had to change several settings in the Super-AFC. It was running so rich it was almost killing it! It's running MUCH better now, but I can't tune it till he gets a new O2 sensor. A few little things hear & there & it'll be read to take to the strip.
