I'm looking for a Kaaz LSD. The MS LSD held fine until the axle went and sent all the torque to the other side in a split second. If your going to trailor your car or dont car about tire wear just make a spool for it. The Quaife LSD I'm not to sure about...I've talked to a few people that say the 10...

I've broken 3 diffs with my car as well. First two were sohc f-series trannies with the lil VJ-13/14 @ 14psi on the B6T. The last one was a Mazdaspeed G-series LSD diff in a Pro-LX box...blew the clutch discs apart as a direct result of a custom center axle bar I twisted like a pretzel on both ends,...

lol...you put a T4 turbo on and your power band won't start untill about 4500rpm. A T4 turbo is verrry laggy under that rpm on the 1.6 or 1.8L engines with out using anti-lag, or nitrous. The turbo we used on the BP powered MX-3 is a small Mitsubishi 16G which is one step larger than the Mitsu 14B t...

We had a lightened MX-3 with a stock NA BP, stock headers, Whalbro 255lph fuel pump, 9lb SPEC flywheel, S-AFC, Jacobs Ice Pac, Nology Plug Wires, custom intake, custom exhaust (headers back), NGK V-Power Plugs gapped to .065 (no thats not a typo), ACT pressure plate with 6-puck solid hub disc and th...

440's are pushing it on that turbo with only a S-AFC. We had a MX-3 with a BP, small Mitsubishi 16G, S-AFC with Miata RC 440cc injectors, and BP ECU. I belive we ran out of fuel at only 10psi of boost. The reason is your still limited to the stock ECU's injector control range and you won't get an ho...

I shift at 8000rpm on a stock B6T valve train. To get a engine to rev is more valve train work than anything. You need more cam duration, higher valve spring pressures (most people go to dual valve springs). I'd also recomment titanium retainers, and stronger valves to take the beating. Ferrea makes...

I have a Garret GT3076R (same as HKS 3037 Pro S) with .82 A/R turbine housing on a 1.6 B6T and have 26psi or what ever I want by 5300rpm at the latest and rev to 8000rpm (rev limit at 8300rpm) on a stock B6T valve train...it has took it for over 10,000 miles of abuse so far. The GT30 turbo has a but...

Fuel Pressure can be a double edge sword. It also depends on what your using for engine management. Remember...as you raise the fuel pressure your injectors will flow more BUT your fuel pump will support less power. As pressure rises, the fuel pump flow decreases. The Wahlbro flow starts to fall off...

No update on the IM yet. Waiting for his extra manifold to arrive so we can start making a jig for the new manifold. This manifold will be different from what most of you have seen. It combines a few existing designs concepts from various other manfiolds that work and bring them all together to make...

Yes the engine can be pulled with out pulling the axles from the hubs...you have to use a cherry picker and pull it out the top. We drop ours out the bottom as the MX-3's struts only have two bolts to remove which will allow the hub assembly to swing out of the way after the axle nut is removed. Wit...

The clutch life depends on several things. Your driving style, torque, clutch material, etc... A metallic clutch can last anywhere from a year (if your next to its torque capacity and slip it all the time on a stock flywheel) to a couple years. The clutch I had started out in a friend of mines car a...
