The ecu wiring is different, you can't use a kl31 or kl36 ecu.

The klze disty with 6 nippels comes from the eunos800 and doesn't work on an obd1, I have tried it.

I did three obd2 klze installs, you should be good to go with a kl01 vaf and a fpr, the last swap I did was about 2 months ago and let me tell you that thing moves!! I was a longneck klze into an mx-3 though.

If he's running a k8 ecu, don't waste our time anymore, you didn't do your research IF that's the case. Go buy a klze ecu. If you need one, pm me.
