Hauling a motor in car?
Hey guys I got an Mx-3 I bought in T.O a while back, Anyways I may be picking up an Mx-6 in the neighborhood, and I was thinking maybe I'll snag a KLZE on the way back <I live in SK>, Is there anyway to put a motor inside a car, like the trunk to haul...... I've never done it b4 but I suppose the mo...

Re: mis-fire when it rains?!? 'dope'!!
Hey I IM'd you. It's definetly cap and rotor, I had same the problem. Dont bother replacing the wires because they cost like $100 and that was the first thing I did, and it didn't fix the problem, a cap and rotor is only like $45 or so.

Re: custom intake??
Hmmm for mine all i did was buy a filter and clamp it onto to VAF and then cut the resonator tube....you guys are talking about a vacuum line on that resonator tube? that might explain why i have a loose vacuum line in my car near the intake and i cant figure out where it goes...

Re: Shifting question!!
I rev the piss out of my motor, honestly, it just won't stop running. I'm waiting for it to die so I'm "forced" to do a motor swap but no suck luck 215k and still pulling hard...When I race/drive normally I take first to 7k all the time, I think im gonna push it a little harder though and ...

Re: Question about sub postion
From my experiences, subs/ports pointed to the rear of the car. My bandpass box < 2 boston 10"s> sounds best this way in my mx-3. Sounded best the same way in my protege. My buddy has a 12" soundstream mule <sealed box> in his '89 nissan 240sx <sr20det swapped> and it sounds best pointed b...

Re: I need to get this sticker off!
If it's on paint on the body, use an eraser wheel for sure, but if it's on your bumper or something plastic thats painted do not use an eraser wheel. Before i discovered the magical eraser wheel i just used High pressure wand wash and then WD40 to get the remaining glue off....

Re: A-Pillar Gauge Pod Group Buy Pictures
Guys, the spacing is perfect, the reason why it looks like 3 single pods is cause thats what it is right now. When the final version is complete, it will be a molded one piece, with nice curves in between the pods. If you look at the first pic, they can't space them any closer toghether or you will ...

Re: Help! Scratch on rear plastic bumper ?
Well if you can put you finger nail in it, it going to need to be filled, sanded then painted I used to work at a autobody shop that specializes in plastic bumper rebuilding. For something small like that we would charge about $200-225 CAN and it would be perfect after, painted and everything. Try t...

Re: Precidia...MX3...DIF??
I like the fact that they are called precidia's in Canada. Because if someone ask's me what kind of car i drive and i say mx-3, <stupid> people either have no idea what that is or they get it mixed up with an mx-6. So now i just say a precidia and then there like oooooh a precidia....so who makes th...

Re: mazda or nissan????
Does anyone remeber the hype about the mazda 6 like 2 years ago. Some aussie<?> site had the concept and it was AWD and Twin Turbo, supposed to be mazda's skyline basically...anyways i think the 6 looks good, but its underpowered like all mazda cars <'cept rx7's> but it's supposed to handle great. S...

Re: E-Brake Light Coming ON on Fast Sharp Corners...?
I had the same problem with my protege, the light would come on and off with accel/braking. I think its a 4cyl/rear drum problem...I know my fluid level was full and it still happened...So i had the whole system bled and the rear's adjusted because they are suppose to self adjust but sometimes they ...
