I have a 2.5" with mandrels welded in for bends, and no cat with a straight thru apexi style muffler w/silencer. It cost me around $140 all said and done. It's really really loud. People tell me they can hear my car for blocks....

Why are the runners so long? Is the turbo to big to fit closer?

Hmmm, good point Gro, I do have a complete b6t w/harness, I wonder if that would work with a bit of splicing. I need shop manuals. I don't think I could easily get a mx-3 I4 harness, I can get a protege harness.... they are pretty similar I imagine.

As far as I know you can use a ATX ecu and harness on a MTX motor/tranny. But it doesn't work the other way around. I'd guess there's probably will be a few unused plugs/wires after the swap for the ATX but they shouldn't throw any codes....

Most mufflers fit because our stock muffler is straight and there is quite a bit of room, for some you will just need the get an adapter pipe made up to attach to the stock piping. Any straight thru muffler should fit fine.

My mx-3 is need of repair its a 92 GS, Im getting 7 codes from the ecu, both 02's, EGR, CPS, VAF, IAT and TPS my cars CEL is always turning on and off and it sometimes dies at idle when the engine is warm, I'm guessing this is the o2's and maybe combined with the T...
