Oh I didn't realize you had this plug'n'play unit, I thought you were buying Marlons BP megasquirt a while back?? I find it odd that it would require you to tap the tach wire, seeing as how it's plug and play and the info it needs is right there.

:dunno:

Nice vid, How are your guys' coolant temp readings? mine seem to be around ~15 degrees warmer then ambient on coldstarts, and my engine temp peaks out at a little over 200.

What are you guys getting?

Just go off the ne1 wire. All the wires are in the exact same spots <of course, otherwise our ECU's wouldn't interchange> but the colors are pretty much all different <on my 92 anyways>. After the first 3 wrong colored wires I just quit looking at color all together and make sure your pinout is corr...

If so, where and can it be rerouted?
It vents fresh air, so into the interior of the car is best. I run mine thru the firewall grommet on the driver side. :2thumbsup:

a properly tuned ZE should pass emmisions fine, I would find a local automotive forum and ask around there for a good mechanic/shop. Do the ZE swap, it's pretty simple and if you love your car now you will really love it after.

Would the car really overboost within the 15 sec of a 1/4 mile. I seem to think no. It might hit 18psi and I hear that is not a help to the bpt but it should not blow at 18psi right? I have runa couple times on highway without the wastegate and I have seen it creep but I kept it to under 18 psi It'...

Does it do it in every gear? It does sound like a axle but if you checked them and their ok it must be the tranny or some freaky clutch problem like your whole pressure plate fell off lol. A lot of places offer lifetime warranty's on the parts, but they get you on the install. You could take it bac...

20 hours straight is tough and dangerous. I would do like a 12 the first day just sleep in the car at a truck/rest stop, and then 8 the second. I would take some tools as well, in case you toss a belt or something. I like to be overprepared tho... EDIT: Bring lots and lots of music, and to help stay...

Yea I would try to get one off of PT, they are getting pretty cheap now after they've been whored out a few times <bought/sold but never installed> I got a complete unit - V3 board with MS-I cpu with complete labelled harness for a pretty decent price, probably cheaper then buying the parts separate...

Chances are something messed up if your running that slow, unless your track is pretty high altitude wise. My best is 15.2 on the ze n/a with just intake and exhaust at 3600ft.
