I had one, the power was noticeable. My alternator has been weak for years so it was even worse being underdriven and I noticed my engine was running hotter at stops, so I yanked it.

I don't think there is anything special about the pressure plate. The ones I seen just look to be a resprayed Dakin (Korean made OE) pressure plate. Even the DF just seemed to be a Dakin with weights on the diaphrgm fingers held together with a steel hoop. Yea thats what I noticed on my CM stage 2R...

Sorry for the thread high-jack, but I have one that I want to get rid of as well, it's primered, never been installed, I heated it to curve it to the car better, which made a slight wrinkle on the edge, nothing a decent body shop/person couldn't fix. And I live in Calgary so for you whitezombie it w...

The ZE puts out around 165hp at the wheels. Last time I checked mx-3's were around ~2450lbs for a GS.

Do you have a curved neck ZE? then it will fit. Just plug the EGR hole on the exhaust manifold ie: weld a cap on. It's tough to diagnose the timing problem without seeing it, a cam could just be sticking because of lack of oil, or your tensioner could be shot are my best guesses. Did your mechanic s...

hey MAKE SURE you replace axles , seals all all other preventive maintenace measures you can do!! also bearings. This is to ensure any headaches after the swap. To each their own. I personally wouldn't bother with anything other then t-belt and water pump, and I think that's the way most people go.

I went and checked my ze out and it was pretty dirty, and they said they had to pull the auto off and clean it up, when I went to pick it up it looked exactly the same. And shoaib was like "DAYM, It looks like a brand new engine!" I was like ok there buddy. They also told me it compression...

actually after all engine swaps and change in flywheel/clutch, it is alway recommended to bleed the clutch, every engine swap and change in clutch ive ever done, has always resulted in no pressure in the clutch line, and have always had to bleed it, some need alot of bleeding some need little. That...

It does sound like there is air in the system... But you shouldn't have to bleed the clutch line after a new clutch ever. If you didn't open the hydraulic system then you should be looking elsewhere. That would be like bleeding your brakes after putting new pads on... What did you use to torque the ...

Yes it is just a flippin bracket for like $50 more.

If cost is your issue and you have an inspection coming up, just yank the rear suspension off an EGT/protege/323 in the junkyard. Just grab the whole unit spring/strut it's only 4 bolts...
