The red Mx-3 that run 10.89 it's me . I purchase only the shell from D.Lausier. In my first year i put a stock 1.8 BP with a gt35-40 with 20 psi and i run a 11.18 @125. I change the 1.8 for a FE3 2.0l (86x86)stroked to 2236 cc (94x87). f2t or b2200 crank(94 mm). I run 10.89 with this motor and the ...

now heres the only problem.....you can buy a: bp motor with lower miles then your sohc with tranny and wiring and ecu for 300 more or less....then turbo it for not much more, and you still paid less then the 2g's asked for racingmazdas™ turbo kit....even if you buy the turbo kit its only oil cooled...

Congrats on the project. I am looking to get another fe3 motor also. I can't seem to find them any where any more. I have a new goal on MX-3's I want to do 3 eventually. each with a BP (in progress), an FS and an FE3. I know I am crazy.

I also push then to 28-30 and 400 mark. But Again tuning and what you have on the car to tune with is the key. Its possible to kill the engine at little or no boost if its done wrong also. so help you self and do it right.

Yes we are running sicks on the car. We will start on the install in a few hours. We will aslo try to make the track later for some test N tune. Hope we can get it all done early so we can get some good pic and vids.

well i mean yeah i understand that hp = money... but i dont think a bp swap is a good idea... i mean the cars that you get the engines from are already 15+ years old... so its really no point because the engines are outdated... So are the honda engines that are making 500 without a rebuild. so whut...

Besides no one answered my Questions yes. I still want to know whats the best and badest SOHC that is or was.

Just for the record. The 451 was in an rs BODY But that was on a BP engine. It was a customer's car so not my call. If lime green would switch back to his SOHC, That would be great. Then we could play.
