Lights dimming
Wasn't sure what to name this topic given the problems im having...so im getting ready to trouble shoot and here's my problem(s)...Please guide me the right way Ok so SOMETIMES when i press on the brake, my lights dim all around my car including the headlights...not every-time i brake but sometimes,...

I never had any issues with my cig lighter...could yours be the lighter itself? (the coil thing?)

Thank Newfie_dan i just wanted to make sure cause my tranny was slippin abit but then i realized my cooling lines were rotted out and now that its fixed and assuming the fliud re-filled cause its shifting smoothly

Too much money?
So i bought my mx3 aka pepper lol about 9 yrs ago now its got 237k miles on the original motor/tranny and runs great...this year alone i put almost $2300 into it (rear struts, radiator,exhaust,front ball joints,oil cooling lines from tranny). The car has mostly been driven on weekends for about 5 ye...

So i wanna just make sure...92 rs auto....run engine in park till warmed up....pull it wipe it then re-insert the dip-stick and check again and it should be between the warm markings which is the higher of the 2 sets...correct?

Aight well after a 2 small pieces of black tape and a volt meter my inner parking lights no longer light up when i turn on my parking lights but all four light up with the brakes...

*VERY LATE UPDATE*....So i took out the radio wiggled a few wires and it all works now...i checked for nicks and things like that but nothing...

Well i ordered some misc clips and aside from damn customs
everything went fine he even threw in a few last min extras and was always quick to respond to my emails which is always a plus GOOD JOB!!!

i tested the alternator by disconnecting the negative from the battery and the car ran and checked voltage 14 at terminals now when i stepped on the brake with the volt meter on the cigg lighter (had no one around to help) i maintained 14 but i dont think the mater can notice the drop since its so q...
