plain and simple, the mazda mx-3 comes with a k08 engine from the factory,130HORSE power. The bigger engine is the kl which is160HP. The KLZE is a europe specification engine with 195HP.

125,000 miles on my 92 gs, ive always hit between 6000RPMs and 7000RPMs almost EVERY time ive driven it. I keep my oil changes at or under 3000 miles, so its definitely a reliable engine.

I h the same problem a few years ago, I took the car to the factory and they replaced the distributor cap, fixed the problem of the " full throttle dropout". Take a look at your distributor.

AUTOMATIC KLZE
If anyone has ever heard of an automatic mx-3 being tuned into the KLZE please let me know if it is posibe because I want the extra power but I own an automatic and would rather keep it that way even if I loose a couple of horses. Please give me your inputs.

HE KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN
Every time I make a hard right turn in my 92gs the engine dies. It will start right back up, and it won't stall every time if it is full of gas. Please help if anyone has ever had this problem before?
