I had to deal with this also, IF you can find one at a JY, I suggest taking it off CAREFULLY, then take it home and put a little bit of oil or butter and then heat the oven to say 160 170 or so and let it sit for maybe 10 15 mins and it should slide off easily.

I agree that really bows, I would love to upgrade a front, bar. I had a Honda Del Sol a few years back that had a rear bar. OMG! I loved it, it felt like a go kart!
