KLZE swap, some issues off the bat
I put a ZE in my 92 GS. I'm getting idle problems, which require me to press the gas when I fire it back up unless I sit for a while... as soon as it warms up it basically just stalls. It fires back up no problem as long as I'm pushing the gas. Some things I feel the need to mention, not that I know...

Re: KLZE swap, no idle!
Got it. Used a curved neck mani... had sneaky nipple on back. Capped it off and instant idle.

Re: KLZE swap, no idle!
Alright, update... Through some feathering of the gas I managed to get the car to idle for about 10 seconds. It did it about three times at slightly different rpms. Then it will drop out for a fraction of a second (almost like it missed) and that fucks my whole game up. It can even miss when it's ju...

KLZE swap, no idle! [got it!]
I've been picking around the FAQs... I set my TPS to just before the fan clicks on... now I'm stumped lol. Have 92 mx-3, stuck in KLZE (94?). Thing fires up alright, but can't seem to nail idle. It hangs out around 3K then begins a slow decent to a sputtering death. If I tap the gas it jumps back up...

Re: fuel supply vs return
I'm mid swap. the battery tray isn't even ready to go in yet. Of course it's not a huge deal, but I was thinking someone would just know off hand and I could avoid gas fumes in the same garage my furnace fires up in..... just thinking. I'm just gonna disconnect the return side from the rail. If fuel...

Re: fuel supply vs return
I'll just set the battery in place and pull the return hose. I was thinking I needed the tray to be in for some reason.
Would running them backwards damage the regulator?

Re: fuel supply vs return
Great info, but I'm a little rawer than that. The engine's end I have down. Imagine being down to the firewall. Looking at it from the front, you have a shorter hose going left and a much longer hose going right. Can supply pictures if necessary.

fuel supply vs return
I don't mean to be a chump. I'm sure this has been discussed, but on my phone search is difficult.
I'm doing a ZE into a GS swap. Is the shorter fuel hose that points out towards the passenger's side the supply? It made sense, since it only has to reach the filter.

Pick my K8 apart (Gone!)
I have a K8 and trans sitting on the floor. Before I ship it off for scrap I'll be happy to liquidate anything y'all need off of it... The K8 drinks oil at a quart a month and the tranny whines in 3rd and 4th. If you want the pistons, for example, just buy the whole thing. Spoken for: -K801 flywheel...

Ebay vendor Velocity-tech... zero customer service
Watch out for velocity-tech on ebay. I bought KYB struts off them and when I tried to return them (as they didn't fit the car they said the struts would) they suddenly disappeared. I raised a discrepancy on Ebay and they just waited me out, only giving me a general response in the beginning and not ...

If they're an LLC, corporation, or have been in business for a long time, changing their name might be difficult and/or detrimental to marketing.benyandthejets wrote:Lol Oregon in the name but the business is based in Vancouver, Washington. Yes its close... but its not Oregon.

oregon cams??
Has anyone run Oregon cams, heard of Oregon cams, know anything about Oregon cams?
I have a guy offering to get me out of a bad situation ( I broke my rear two Colt Tri-flows) for less than 200 bucks. This would be f---ing IDEAL... but I'm skeptical of snake oil.
