Had nothing to do with the tranny mount bolt. I had the linkage rod between shifter and tranny flipped. Plenty of clearance now!

Car will still spark with bad crank sensor... Probably didn't need one of those but never hurts. I vote 99 % on the distributor.

You may want to inspect/replace valve guides and seals too...

Is that really what it is? I thought it normally had more clearance, but I all of my oem bushings were missing in the linkage so thats probably why I didn't notice.
