Re: The Sighting/Spotted Thread
Blue MX-3 with Altezza lights at Dave and Buster's. Looked like it had a fresh paint job.

Re: camber plates?
Can try Ksport. They sell coilovers with pillowball mounts and camber adjustment. Contact them to find a dealer and inquire on the price.

[WTB] Misc. MX-3 V6 Parts
My wish list: Front spindle and a used rotor - Preferably free V6 drivers side axle - $10 (Rockauto has $30 new, no core, so gotta be fair) Front strut mount and bearing - don't care if they're completely broken, just as long as they're one piece - Preferably free Black fenders - $20? Clear signal a...

Energy Suspension has control arm bushings for the Escort ZX2. May possibly fit. They're only $26 for a full control arm set).

Would much rather have a solid one that also bolted to the firewall, kind of like the AE92 Corolla GT-S.

Re: Battery Relocation
1/0 for power to a distribution block in engine bay, 1/0 for ground to nice clean bare metal bolt. The ones that hold the rear bench in do nicely.

http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/456804_10150900235892401_1940540057_o.jpg Picked up a pair of calipers local, Wilwood Forged Dynalite 120-6811, $250 local. However, they are available from Autoplicity.com for $105. Physically, they are just a little bigger than stock I'd like to go w...

Re: SS braided brake lines, possible hoax.
Key to SS lines is a teflon inner AND outer. The outer does matter. A problem with SS lines is that if dirt or sand gets between the braids, it essentially "sands down the braid, and can lead to a rupture. The teflon outer basically seals the braid from the elements. Goodridge lines don't have ...

Re: A Proper Big Brake Kit
I wouldn't knock the guy - I would love to see this come to fruition. I do not, however, see this happening for less than 1k unless we get somewhere near 50+ buyers. Unless you own a fab shop and can create a complete kit, getting a complete brake setup is going to be expensive. If it works out tho...

Re: A Proper Big Brake Kit
Shocks are fine, replaced less than a week ago. Stoptech rotors + Hawk HPS. You have some really low standards if you assume everyone does a NAPA job. I'm not proposing a $1000 big brake kit like the K-Sport or any other. I'm proposing a better than stock kit that works like stock (parking brake too...

A Proper Big Brake Kit
I've been doing some reading, and seen the Subaru Legacy Wagon front caliper upgrade, and the Miata rear upgrade. Doesn't seem that effective to me. My car nosedives on braking. I think it's time to do something about it. Other cars have easy and more noticeable brake upgrade kits, we should too. An...

Most of the bushings are still made by Whiteline. Roughly same prices too.

Re: drum to disc conversion??
Off the top of my head: -hubs -calipers w/brackets -brake lines (may as well do all, not sure if 100% required) -handbrake cables Not sure if necessary, but: -GS master cylinder and booster Personal advice: find an MX-3 GS to take parts from, just take off the rear subframe and you'll have all the n...
