Re: Turbocharging a k8 - need some advice
You get what you pay for, thats all i have to say. There is "no bolt on turbo" for the mx3. You will have to do some custom work to make it fit. If your not good at doing custom work then i wouldn't bother. Personally i wouldn't even bother turboing the k8. Its a waste of money and horsepo...

Re: KLZE burning oil with only 90000km
I can smell burning oil when i come to a stop now too. I went out and brought some regular oil (10w-30). Hopefully this will stop because i really dont want to do a rebuild if its even worth doing one. Parts are getting harder and harder to find. Scrap yards dont even have mx3 anymore where i live. ...

Lately my KLZE is burning oil at a good rate. I haven't notice it leaking anywhere. I hardly drive the hell out of it. I put truck and car through way more hell than the KLZE and they never burnt oil on me. I'm running 5w 30 full synthetic oil and wondering if i should go to regular oil? This is the...

Re: Stronger Tranmission
straight cut gears Fabricate your own sort of tie link to cradle the shafts together in the middle, there is no cradle in the middle, the drive shafts are only held at each end. Thats why a helical 3rd is bad, helical gears push the shafts apart. Shafts apart -> boom. There is a 'tranny saver' that...
