Re: air ride
A friend of my owns Killer Ridez in Seagoville, TX - www.killerridez.com. He does the absolute best work I have ever seen... and is cheap too! Check out his site for pictures and videos of his projects (One was a 2002 Focus - very bad *** ride). I have considered air for my mx, but I'm more focused ...

Problems with shifter bushing install
Hullo again...
I fabbed my own bushings... they fit great! HOwever, I'm going to have to replace the bushings on the tranny side of the linkage as well. My question is this... on the tranny side of the shifter, there is what appears to be a simple U-joint. One side hooks directly to the tranny gea...

Re: Anyone interested in Stainless shifter bushings?
Funny... I've never had that problem. Unless the stainless was all galled and pitted. Then I could see it happening.

Re: Anyone interested in Stainless shifter bushings?
Stainless won't wear NEAR as fast as bronzoil... bronzoil is one of the softest metals available... and it's brittle. When you work it with a lathe or mill, it falls apart like chalk. Stainless on the other hand will hold the close tolerances you start with for years and years... and it will not cor...

Re: Stainless shifter bushings
As a machinist, I personally consider bronzoil a 'trash' metal. It's hard to work with and doesn't work as well as other metals in almost all applications. The stainless won't bind as long as it's done right (microfinish), not galled and rough. Bronzoil is generally not machined with close tolerance...

Stainless shifter bushings
Hey guyz 'n galz, my shifter has finally killed all four bushings (like more than half of the people on this forum, no doubt). I've looked at the bronze bushings available from SRD and Corksport, and I can't see spending $30 on a set of 4 bushings... especially not made from 'bronzoil'. I've got som...

...Also, you might want to consider the fact that you'll have to find a matching seat. The auction you posted is for one seat and harness only.
![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Heater smells like A$$...
Hey guyz 'n galz, I bought my '93 GS from my stepdaughter. She owned several dogs, one of which is remembered for 'tossing it's cookies' every time it was put in the car. I'm not sure to what extent the animals were in the car, and if there were even more freom a previous owner... but every time I t...
