Hey fellow albertians I'm from red deer names Steve bought a 93 mx3 last week plan to fix it up needs alot of body work. If there's any other red deer people or whoever give me a shout I'd be glad to meet other mx owners.

I can only smell the fuel comin out of the back of the car. And I've heard the same engine noise from a blown Injector. The car sat for 3 years so I'm gonna change the oil and spark plugs see if that helps. I appreciate the advice guys.

No one else has had this issue?

yeah? hmm so what change to synthetic? maybe some lucas to raise the pressure to make sure oils gettin up there? the other reason i think the knock is a injector is because now its missing a bit. and the noise is comin from the center of the rear head. its not a loud knock its more like ambient.

because it smells distinctly like fuel when running, yet there is no leaks. and its almost like steaming out of the exhaust but no raw fuel comes out. Also i guess this would be a good point to note, is that theres NO codes flashing and or engine warning lights goin off, its just burning fuel faster...

ok my issue is this, i have a bit of a knock but it sounds like an injector and the motor is running very rich, i have a 93 mx3 1.8 v6, i just bought it and dont know much about these cars, I love it though and would like to fix this issue, how hard is it to replace a injector in these motors?
