theres one on there for 85$ id buy.. but dont have the cash.. i have to pay off my speeding ticket on tuesday.. >.< so i get to take my stupid truck.. ok its not stupid.. its a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with the magnum in it.. gets about 5 miles to the gal(Not really but thats what it seems like) lol

yeh dude, im stumped right now, it doesnt make sence, if it was something else then id assume that the Disty wouldnt be getting any power/spark. Im looking for a new disty a parts place an mazda wants $500.00 NO auto wreckers near me have anything, so im kinda screwed, i just dont want to pass out ...

well thats what i was meaning when i said open your disty up and look inside.. look for any burnt looking connections inside.. find a disty taht u know works and try it in ur car(Of course use a disty made for ur motor) Try it and see what happenes.. if ur car still wont start then u have stumped me...

:shock: Maybe your looking too hard at this situation.. step back and retrace all your wires you took off.. unplug and replug every wire going to the coil and disty.. bad contact in one of the plugs might be a possibility.. (My rx7 had this often >.<) Pull your disty off and clean it out.. pull the ...

went to my local wrecker.. No distys.. BUT! i found two main relay switches for my fan (That i needed) and two fuel injector relays(Needed also) and a very good looking CPS!!! SCORE!! 2$ for the lot of it.. witch im like YES! so now a new disty and ill be good to go..

k ill have to look on e-bay and find out if there is any cheep.. i think i saw one for 130 but im not sure.. i pulled my dizzy of and its smelled like electrical (But when i was driving it smelt like electrical really bad) so i think my dizzy finally died completely lol!!!! Thanks

Okay.. my disty was dieing but i cleaned it out and started to drive it.. it ran for about 3 miles, started returning home and it starts to sputter.. so i down-shift into 2 and slam the gas to (maybe) un-gunk the FI.(Fuel injectors) after about half a mile it sputtered again and died.. wouldn't star...

The sound in the vid is not really the clearest but it sounds like hydraulic lash adjusters or hla noise. Its common on the v6 and the only real way to get rid of it is to clean them out, that can be done with a good synthetic oil and some engine flush like seafoam. WOW.... Hydraulic Lash Adjusters...

well i tryed to use a very long pair of needle nose pliers but it didint work.. And now i ask myself.... why didint i think about superglue?..... after i get home from the plasma center ill try it... thx

i have no check engine light on so its not the CPS? the damn thing wont stay running for a minute now.. just dies over and over.. and it started to run then die but before it kills its self it starts to run again.. then dies... is there anyone in spokane WA that has a extra disty? or willing to put ...

ok i got a question.. i was told there is a wire on the bottem part of the motor that if the cap is cracked or broken or really oily cld cause no spark or odd spark.. its a plug with a wire leading to like a cap that looked like a map sensor kinda thing... not sure but napa told me about it.. someon...

yeah, thanks but i really dont want to buy a mod and then relize im sol without a part or something messes up then i have to spend more money and time that i dont have just to fix my mustake.. sooo.. new dizzy sounds fine to me.. thanks anyways
