So, I got a new ignition switch from a 1st gen protege for the MX3, but the key is cracked and bent alittle, the orig key works great, but all the cuts arent working right, I need the keycode from the car, besides taking the VIN into Mazda, I heard that you can get the keycode from the car, Just won...

just wondering.. any idea on which cars would the ignition switch be interchangeable with my 93, sohc, 4c .. possibly the 1st gen protege or 2nd gen 323? Thanks
