KL vs K8 fuelfilter

Need help guys,my car started to lean out after 6.000 rpm on the dyno.I have a stadard K8 fuel filter on my KL 2.5 mazda mx3.The thing is there any diff between a KL fuel filter and K8,flow rate ect.just wonna know if i need to change the filter or not..ps My filter is only 4 mouths old.

Hey guys found out the engine i got in my mx3 is a KLDE-G4 from a mazda 626 98-2002 series.Just got to find what ecu's KLDE-G4 run dont think KL31/36 ecu's will do me any good.

Hey guys found out the KL i got is a 170hp KLDE-G4 from a mazda 626 98-2002 series.It ant a KLZE but at least its stronger internally then other KLDE and KLZE's engines.Thanx for the help..

Hey guys thanx for all your help.Found out the engine i got in my mx3 is actully a KLDE KL-G4 from a mazda 626 98-2002 year.Pitty it an't a KLZE but at least its bit stronger internaly then other KLDE's and KLZE's.One last question if you guys can tell us what ecu do KLDE-G4 626 come with.Dont think...

Im thinking of doin a compression test and if it dont't get 190 to 220 il know for sure its not the klze.

Sorry boys for getting running wild and saying the k8 ecu and kl02 vaf gives the best power.Just got a dyno run yesterday and only got 130whp.Thats the best combo i got come up with on my millina longneck klze.Feels and runs smooth but missing at least 20whp.Last option is to import a KL36 ecu and p...

Just did a dyno run today,Didn't come out to happy only got 97.2 kw at the wheels 130whp.Its a 92 mx3 ob1 with a jdm klze/d longneck high comp but has 101 heads.I know you guys will tell us its the wrong ecu vaf combo but Im running stock k8 ecu and kl02 vaf,ive tryed running a aus spec mx6 2.5 ecu ...

One thing id like to see finely put to rest is the origen of the KLZE engine with the KL101 heads.I know 95% of KLZE came with the KL31 heads.And later in the dying years mazda put KL101 haeds on them for polision reasons etc.Id just like to have a answer for once and know which mazda it came out of...

Yeah boys had a look at my engine number it says 814***.Running the k8 ecu KL02 runs nicely.just like a said in my previous posts.Was gonna get a KL36 ecu dont see the need anymore.

Thats the thing its a 92 mazda mx3 its a OBDI.I got a another white 92 mazda mx3 klze with the k31 heads and curved neck i bought of a mate for parts.Running a K8 ecu and JE50 with a blown head gasket it ran well before he cooked it.But my red mx3 im driving at the moment via the last post i was tal...

Funny i tryed all the setups with out going aftermarket or chipping the ecu's.I got a mx3 with the later series longneck klze and 101 heads and yes its japspec.Tryed the k8 ecu and je50 ran like crap,tryed the mx6 ecu and kl02 vaf very slow to rev out and sluggish.Found that running the stock k8 ecu...
