I had the same problem. At normal Operating Temp both your rad hoses should be extremely hot. If one of them is not. On the firewall you will see two hoses connected to metal fittings. These fitting ends belong to the Heater Core. Disconnect both ends of the hose ( be careful you will lose some cool...
