Re: 94 mazda mx3 5-speed idle air sensor
Had an engineering friend actually legit discover that the best intake setup he could make was the stock one, with the bottom of the airbox cut out. So we should take the chance and cut it out? :D But in this case isn't there a chance the fuel air ratio to become more lean? What about changing the ...

Re: 94 mazda mx3 5-speed idle air sensor
You only refer to the pipe?
Cold air intakes filters works better on turbo applications. In atmospheric engines like b6de it would probably do more bad than good..Except from better noise.

Re: 94 mazda mx3 5-speed idle air sensor
This might sound like a dumb question...Where is the intake tube located? I'm not a car guy. THanks for the help. This is what what Ryan says. http://www.google.gr/imgres?imgurl=http://www.2carpros.com/images/articles/engine/intake_manifold/air_intake_tube.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.2carpros.com/...

Re: Mazda Xedos6 114hp
in the coilpacks doesn't the signal come from a sensor in the crankshaft?Which goes to the ecu and then the ecu says when each coil needs to fire?Plus you have a stronger spark and less moving parts..
But i don't have a clue or if it is impossible to change the distributor with coilpacks..

Re: Mazda eunos 500 114hp
Do you have any experience in these motors?
Besides the two differences(intake, ecu)is there anything else that would play a significant role?Different Cams?
It would be great if you can gain some hp by swapping ecu and intake as there are little for this price options in 1.6..

So which is the reason of 7 hp gain?Intake design...
