I did do all that, but it just wouldnt work. I tried setting the idle screw, tried adjusting the TPS, but it would still die on me, I dont really have an idea where to set those things or how to determine where they need to be set. And I got work in the morning...dang.lol

Ok, I got a TB from a guy on here, and I installed it, and instead of having a rolling idle problem, I now have a "ill start but die right away" problem. I crank it up, and 2 seconds later, it sputters and dies...wtf!? I cant win! I had a buddy keep it alive by giving it gas sparingly, and...

because if i take off the timing belt, idk how to get the right timing...i cant afford a timing light, those are like 80$ or more. So if i can do this without taking off or effin up my timing, that would be best.

dude that would be aweslome if you could help. i dont work tomorrow so i could spend all day on the car if you could provide very detailed instructions on what to do, that would be amazing

The guys at pepboys today told me that, since I cleaned out my TB, that spraying TB cleaner in there, could have shorted out or ruined my TPS. so it could be that, idk. is that possible though?

ahh mk. well do you know anyone around me that might be able to help? because im getting another car, thats more reliable, and ill use this car as a project car So i can really supe it up, and get it nice

why 350-400? what could possibly cost that much? the water pump is only 75$, and a new serp. & timeing belt is only like 120$.

Haha, yea I know, but thats for all the labor and everything, I know...friggin stupid...anyone wanna help me with this? is there a way to take off and replace the water pump without taking off the timing belt? like, keep the belt under high tension, but swapping out the pumps?

IDK, i guess its 500$ for the parts and the labor. they said it would take like 5 hours to do that. And around 1000$ to do the water pump, change that out, and the serpentine belt and to redo the timing back to where it was...is that a normal price? or is that insane? because if I could get some hel...

Well, took the car to the shop today...heres what they said... W/P is leaking ,that will need to be replaced. And in order to do that, will cost around 100$ for a new serpentine belt, and all the labor. Along with that, my wheel bearings are shot, so will be about 500$ to get that done, and they can...

well im taking it to pepboys anyway, people say its a good place, others say, not too much. But im going there to get a wheel and tire balance and alignment. so im gunna see if they can fix my leaks.

I checked all around the the filler cap, and its not leaking from there, its leaking around my belts, because i looked there with a flash light and it was all wet around there. could be why my belts have been squeaking today and yesterday?
