Re: angle/engine issues
ya but i do think i would like a interferance motor.
i mean i dont know but that seems like it would be more efficient.
and compress gas even further.
oh well just happy i got my kl.
and it wont die if i lose the timing belt

Re: KLZE ECU
haha very true i do lose alot of gas but only when its cold. see im in a desert. so once my cars warm it uses that extra fuel when i punch it. i can almost burn the tires through 3rd.
so i like it.
still curious what it would run like with a kl ecu though

Re: what am i gettin myself into?
well i do agree there. it would more than likley get more respect in the car world as a rwd car. but the body style wouldnt really agree i think. if you notice the body draws your eyes twards the front wheels as the drive wheels with the way the front fenders are shaped. and the rear fenders just lo...

Re: Anyone want to help me flag a craigslist post?
that guy is a freakin idiot.
i dont even think its a scam.
i just think you got a guy with an iq of -3.
bought a mx3. it broke on him.
he cried.
then did 10min of research on it.
decided to call it a SE.
and say it has a 2.5 with a turbo.
its a pretty rough car to have a 2.5 with a turbo

Re: intake
well i didnt read the last 5 replys.
but the flat fact is cold air is a lie!!!
bmw did extencive studys on cold air intakes.
it makes the fuel atomize slower. effectively decreasing hp.
but a short ram air is a good way to go.
nice hot air and less distance it has to travel to get into the motor.

Re: KLZE ECU
well on the original question. it doesnt really matter which ecu you use. or if its obd1 or 2 im actually using the k8 ecu on my ze. runs a little rich when shes cold. but other than that shes a beast. sure it would be better to get the ze ecu. the fact is. you can straight up drop a ze into a mx3 w...

Re: LED Nooob needs help!
well heres an idea.
put the led's in. wire em up to the wires that hooked to your old turn signals.
and get a diff flasher.
thats the way i did it.
its still a little fast but with the led's i think it looks pretty cool
