Re: Simple (almost) all Mazda Front Big Brake Upgrade
Have you looked into the VW Carrado sport rotors? Miata guys have been using them forever for Big brake upgrades. Miata guys can use them since they have shorter mounting points. Here is a kit with the corrado rotor http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?45304-GI-Possible-cheap-front-big-b...

Re: drum to disc conversion??
The escort master cylinder is 15/16 so its the same size as the MX3 GS one. Also you can upgrade the rear brakes to larger miata rotors as well with your swap. edit: Rockauto has parking brake cables or I have some used MX3 rust free AZ ones that I was going to use on my car but since they are short...

Re: [WTB] Interior Items
Thanks for the pics. Yes my setup is exactly the same and black as well. My stuff came from a Canadian Escort.
Wyt, does your car have a cover over the area I have in the pic on the first post or is yours like the pic above?

Re: Escort Strut Frustrations
These are a pain, I have done a few of them. You have to make sure everything is lined up or they wont want to go together. The hole in that hat should point "out" or on the same side as the lower strut mount. Now on your mount there will be a rubber piece that sticks up on one side. This ...

Re: Escort Strut Frustrations
I would imagine that he is using 3rd gen escort struts which have a larger diameter shaft then the 2nd gen escort/protege/mx3 ones. Thats why he needs the escort mounts.

Re: [WTB] Interior Items
not mad at you, just dont understand why I am getting people confused. My seatbelt setup is from a canadian car, just for clarification, which is why I need canadian parts. What kind of mounting does a US model setup have? While the belts are better then the motorized ones, they still are not as goo...

Re: [WTB] Interior Items
I really dont understand whats so confusing. I stated I need the cover that goes over the seatbelt where it attaches in the picture or perhaps I should leave "seatbelt" out of the description? Anyone with manual belts should recognize there is something missing in the pic I posted. Yes the...

Re: [WTB] Interior Items
I actually havn't looked for them yet as I have been too busy with other stuff. No problem as long as can get them, I can wait for them. Just to make sure : I need both sides in black for manual belts. I see you are in Oregon so I though I would mention manual belts since I didn't think US MX3's had...

Thats close enough for me, thank you very much, and I see in your other thread the MX6 ones are 5/16 longer and work just fine as well, correct?
