Your chances are about 100%. The B-Series engine is non-interference, so belt snaps, you just gotta re-align the timing marks and throw a new belt on there.krucialmx3 wrote:but how good are the chances of nothing major happenin?

You'd be going through oil like crazy if the block was cracked. Does it stall when stopped? Or just randomly lose power? Any CEL codes? Do you have the heater and/or rear defroster on when it sputters?

Same thing happened to me when I used to drive the old beater truck at work. Clutch plate was totally obliterated, and actually busted the clutch plate fork... replaced them, worked fine ever since.

These are from my fronts, but they're pretty much the same thing. Note that the M Clip (the one furthest from the piston) goes into some holes in the brake rails.
