Yes, even the 92... it's a recall, so it's valid for life.

Re: just bought a mx-3

Nope... take it to your Mazda dealer in town, they'll verify your VIN, check the springs, order them, and install them. No charge to you. From the time I brought my car to the dealer to the time it was fixed was less than 48 hours.

Re: help for a noob purchasing wheels

Thanks for searching ahead of time! Much appreciated! I'm a fan of stock... I bought the car with steel wheels, finally found the OEM mags for crazy cheap. They're lighter than the steels, and overall just handle better. If you're going to lower the car, you may want bigger tires (not necessarily lo...

Leave him alone guys... he only comes on here cuz he has nothing to do. Which is usually the result of being unable to get laid. Which is caused by driving a Dodge. Which is the result of be lobotomized.

Vicious, vicious circle.

Re: question

Anyone chime in here, but to my knowledge, the speedo is controlled by the Distributor. For it to go to zero without actually stalling suggests a busted cable somewhere. Also, an intermittently flashing hold light also suggests bad cable connection. Start following wires.

Re: question

You definitely put this post in the wrong section. And there is no need to post the same topic twice... please avoid cluttering the forums... much appreciated!

When you say the speedo stopped, you mean it froze at a set speed? Or went back to zero?

Re: Please Help...dead '92 MX-3 base

Could happen... I'm surprised it didn't sputter before dying... usually that's the pace of things. But if there was a faulty ground that sapped power from the battery, you better find and fix that sucker before it kills another pump.

Re: [NEED HELP] Whats wrong with my car???

I used to have the "almost stalling" problem too. My check engine light came on because of a detected misfire. I did 2 things: Cleaned the TB (as per Tunes67's writeup in the FAQ) and, Ran Seafoam through my engine. No more idle issues for me. You can use the online manuals to determine if...
