Tried it again today - same thing happened

set idle RPM to be 1000, pulled the paperclip, shut down the engine. started it up again, and it went to 1000 for about 5 seconds before reverting to 600 and sounding like it was gunna die...

haha I've noticed... I just finished being a full-time student, and am in that area of my life where I'm looking for work, but there isn't really much out there in the field for which i'm trained... as such, I've recently noticed that my car takes up a fairly substantial part of my budget :shrug: .....

Lol... yeah, i was reading the manual on the engine, and everywhere i read suggests 750-800 for the B6, so i was working on attaining that... i'll try setting her a little higher tomorrow. Thanks for the help
