take it easy mate, the cars only worth 2 k anyway
lol its not engine management, its merely tricking the ecu via VAF

Re: Fuel economy/Heat recovery
Yes i do intend on a ATX to MTX ASAP when i can come by a MTX trans (theres not all that many of them in sydney australia) Given this where will you put all this water? I would assume it be in the order 20-50L water per tank gas I do plan on getting a wide-band O2 sensor. I definitely wouldn't be le...

Fuel economy/Heat recovery
Hi all, Im interested in tuning and achieving excellent fuel economy. I have a 1994 Auto-V6 running duel fuel LPG system.(sequential multipoint injection) Atm i have a dying auto trans so fuel econ isnt that good due to clutch slippage Im getting 12.5L/100km on lpg eqivalent to about 9.5L/100km on p...

Re: manual control of auto trans valve solenoids ?
wow! thanks Newfie_dan for all the info. :) I had trouble disconnecting the cooler lines to drain fluid. So i dropped out pan from bottom with fluid into tray. Only 2 litres did flow out. fluid in bottom of pan was reasonably thick. There also was a large amount of metallic particles adhered to the ...

Re: manual control of auto trans valve solenoids ?
thanks for the explanation ive given up on this project as my transmission is dying. it keeps slipping and reving high and only stops slipping when torque converter engages. It might as well be a CVT transmision now since revs drop down as car start to go forward. :( Will end up having to a ATX to M...

Re: manual control of auto trans valve solenoids ?
i agree, there is too much of a risk remembering voltage combinations. What about having 4 pushbutton switches setup so each controls the respective gear. you wouldn't have to remember any voltage combinations. The type of switch would operate so that one of the 4 can only be selected at a time. Wou...

Re: manual control of auto trans valve solenoids ?
thanks for the reply and input !! yes it would require a programable PIC chip or some logic circuit if i were to pursue the the paddle shifting input or similar.(which i would like to do). But for preliminary and experimental phase, 3 toggles switches would do. it may not be as hard as you make out....

manual control of auto trans valve solenoids ?
Hi all i have a 1994 1.8 v6 k839 ecu, 4 speed auto, running sequential multipoint lpg im interested in manually controlling the automatic transmission. The trans shifting is controlled by 3 electronic solenoids and 1 for the torque converter lockup. would it be possible to splice into these after th...

Re: sequential gas injection LPG
Hi all sorry for the long delay. finally some pics now. not sure how to upload images, so here are the links to them. LPG tank is mounted in back where seats would be (they were removed). It is a 100L water capacity i.e. holds bout 70L of lpg. Results (MIxed driving, predominately city driving) Petr...
