Re: AC problem
When it's shaking did you notice what is your idle? Does it go down when you turn on your A/C? It might be as simple as A/C switch. When your A/C is turned on this switch tells engine to raise rpms so that your engine can bear load of A/C being on. If it's not working properly it might make your en...

Re: idle problem
You don't simply replace TPS sensor, it has to be at certain point. You have to adjust it, read online manual for that. so you CAN adjust that. well my only question is. can i adjust it while the car is running? i see where it adjusts. and if i can adjust it while its running is the only way to tel...

Re: Will these brake lines fit ?

Re: Fuse question
the old fuses the glass ones (not the ones for this car) you could wrap with tin foil and theyll never need replacing again, at least thats what this old guy told me but thats for old cars with thos types of fuses That's horrendous advice! All you're doing is bypassing the fuse with a piece of meta...

Re: Fuse question
thanks for that info. i dont know too much, fuses just that they pop and they need replacing. the new ones that light up when they pop are nice but cost a lot. the old fuses the glass ones (not the ones for this car) you could wrap with tin foil and theyll never need replacing again, at least thats ...

Re: Wiring a 110A alternator in, on KL, w/ no harness.
im not sure exactly what your trying to say but ive done this mod personally it was very clear in the instructions with the plug (i ordered a plug for the alternator) i just tied the correct two wires together as explained in the guide and i took the last wire and ran it to the positive of my cigare...

Re: AC problem
normally the shaking would just be because the pulley is spinning. although if its getting stuck a little bit or hesitating it could shake more. the shake could just be worse because of a engine or transmission mount that keeps it from shaking and the fact the ac is shaking the engine there isint mu...

Re: idle problem
really im not too sure. i just did the alternator mod 90amp to 110 amp and i STILL get idle drops like that. eventually i just turned up my air intake (the screw on the intake) it would go from idle at 1.5 on normal and 1.0 on low instead of under 1 on low. next day or two my car is dead i believe t...

Re: [GI] how to: electric to mechanical speedometer cluster
sounds like a great idea. i saw a picture of a digital cluster someone posted, it looked really nice but as you said it probably wont get much use. i doubt i will do it myself but it is something i WOULD like to do. it would be nice to see a write up but im not going to say do it just because i want...

Re: Fuse question
Don't MISINFORM people if you, yourself, aren't IMFORMED. "AD FAN" stands for "Additional Fan", referencing to the cooling fan for the Air Conditioning, so obviously you must have A/C. Like anything, a fuse can die from age/use, but really, it's a non-issue, don't worry about th...
