Re: Engine swap help
I think if you go with the stock 1.8 intake manifold, pretty well everythingthing else from the 1.8 will work. The major setback is you wont get the full 200 HP (id use the 2.5 throttlebody anywys). I m thinking of doing the swap myself and starting with the 1.8 stuff & then trying to arrange th...

Thermostat, 25% of new ones are bad, letting to much water through, get an expensive one &/or test it.

Re: 1996 MX-3 KLZE Swap, Lack of Power
Yes, i think its a good idea that your fuel might be insufficient, someone here may have done the swap & tell you if the fuel pump was the problem. My first guess would be the timimg, get an old timer to do it by ear and then see if you can improve on it by gun  I believe a qualified mechan...

Re: [WTB] OEM Sideskirts, Corksport Front Bumper
Those full length OEM sideskirts do look awesome, would even fit nice with a stock MX-3. I usually like to spend my cash under the hood and leave the outside stock, for the cops. This may be an exception.

Re: WTB: KLDE ecu and damaged front lip
I guess that means you dont have the missing piece, what a drag. There are a lot of MX-3 in scrap yards around here but those front spoilers are as scarce as hens teeth, I really lucked out finding mine. If you decide to remove whats left of your spoiler Keep all the hardware. I tried to order the s...

Re: Rebuilt heads and Blocks on Ebay
Head work depends on the condition. If all you need is the seats done it can be pretty reasonable but if all your guides are shot, valves are cracked or burnt your price goes up substantially. If you have to install many new seats you might not find the Ebay price that unreasonable.

Re: WTB: KLDE ecu and damaged front lip
I bought my front spoiler at junk yard for $35.00 but the part that bolts on was split from the Part that actually shows in the front. My bodyman had someone WELD it, he did an amazing job. The spoiler is actually more solid now than when it was new. It also had a few drill holes in it & he fill...

Re: IS IT WORTH BUYING THE 93 MX3
They are very reliable if not worn out. There are still many nice mx-3 with 300 k km+ . You should almost expect to spend a little to put any used car in top shape.
Get a good inspection before you lay your cash down. MX-3 are amazingly good car.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
