I can imagine an auto to man tran swap not fun. I d swap cars first. You might want to match pistons you buy with future turbo your planning on. Make sure your top & bottom solid before turbo, supercharging or nitrous. BOOM

I get lots of compliments on the sound of my mx-3, stock with a flowmaster muffler (2 sq pipes out the back). Has a nice rumble at low rpm & seems to quiet down a bit when u rev it up, nice on the highway.Hondas always have that tinny sound. I got a honda too. MX-3 all the way !

so my 94 5 speed sb the same. I ditch my k834 cpu & buy kl31/36. use crank sensor, cooling neck(sensors) & front exhaust manifold for the 2.5 KLZE car. Also need millanea Intake & too figure out how to set up stock air box.also need to cap 1 vacuum on intake. would u know wat car the kl3...

sounds awesome! You might as well port, polish and match your heads & intake even if you go with the millenia curved neck. I miss that chevron red 94 octane smell in the morning, cant get it here.

I did notice a company somewere selling headers for the mx-3, 1.8 but cant remember the name of them. I d ask the guys in this forum for header advice, they should know what is best. You might even get some if you try the item wanted forum. I dont believe headers alone will make all that much differ...

Maybe im the only 1 who has ever had coil/distributor problems with the 1.8. If you have power going into the distributor and no fire at the plugs I would suggest doing your hei conversion before messing around with other things.You could always try another distributor if you have 1 handy.
