Being low on oil makes your lifters noisy. Fill it up and it should go away.

Hi guys, i have a problem my low beams don't work... but sometimes they do!
Everything is working fine expect the low beams. High beams, dash, turn... all ok.

Sorry to hijack this thread but my car has overheated after some high rev driving.
Major symptoms:
- after a couple of miles starts to overheat have to shut engine off
- oil seems ok
- radiator fans come on
- radiator is cool while engine overheats
- overflow tank is full and leaks while ...

The box under the passenger seat on a GS is ABS related.

I'm using synth oil on my k8 without problems. In fact it seems to be running smoother.
Also fully synth on the tranny eases up shifting while cold alot.

The fuel cut should be at 7800rpm on a 92 if i'm not mistaken. I'd say 7500rpm safe but worthless.

Here's an update. Bought the euro sideskirts and mudguards, painted black (were red) with some spray cans and installed them.
