thanks mate thats helpfull, what colour should the fluid be ?? also how much does the gearbox hold in volume of fluid. So its not worth getting new gear box ?

Hi guys ive just got another mx3 after selling my old one last year. Its a 1991 presso 1.8 v6 jap import. Its on 200,000 km around 126,000 miles. Everythings seems ok with the car, but i have one problem , the previous owner didnt have much knowledge on the car and i got it cheap.

replace the distributor with a known working unit, with the same code (ex TOT57071) and then paypal me $100.

ok i have been told its over fueling ??? far to much fuel going in and flooding the engine?

My mate got an mx3 1.8v6 and its stunning. when he brought it, it was working fine form months, it had an act clutch in from the previous owner. he took it to the garage and had standard clutch put in as the act one was too harsh. so after about a week. he stopped the car and then it hasnt started ...

no probs thats your opinions guys we have a different style over here and in europe. I have ignored every bad commnet as you cant please them all, ive modified my mx3 to be different and stand out.

i think the few people on here that dont like it i think you should stop and give up with your mx3 ...

Also id like to see some pictures of other UK Mx3 showcars that have been modified in every section??

As i travel all over the UK with Shows,mags ect i havnt come accross any other Mx3 in uk to same standard as mine.

only rsroadkillas few years bk but thats now sold.

I wouldnt call that one UK's best MX3... I have seen some more crazy ones then that!
All I see is a body kit, rims, and some re-upolsterd interior, and a basic sounds system. :shrug:

ok ive cleaned up most of the parts listed above including the pcv.

can anybody show me some pictures of the IAC?? and also pictures on where i can find the diagnostic box ???
