Re: LED speedo
A majority of the posts I've seen you reply to have had nothing to do with the actual questions asked. racycle asked a question about an electronic/needle-less speedometer and whether someone had done it on an MX-3. To which you replied some general nonsense about swapping lighbulbs out. racycle, I ...

Re: 1.6 SOHC alternator upgrade 90amp to 110 amp PLUG QUESTI
The B6, the BP, even the K8 and KL all used the same 2 wire plug on the alternators.
You most likely got the wrong alternator. Deal with the seller.
No idea on the pulley thing.

Re: replacement speakers
They're 6.5" front and back.
Watch the mounting holes though. AFAIK they used the 3 hole mounting layout for all of our cars. I ended up going with the Kicker setup for my 92. They were the only brand at the stereo place with 3-hole in them.
I don't regret these speakers at all.

Re: short shifter
According to a couple of the sites I checked today, the B&M are 42% reduction.
They also tend to range around $120-140.
I believe the Protege model would work for ours too. Yes/No?

Re: let's band together and make a REAL BP swap guide (no BS
Yes, the automatic tranny will connect to the BP, but why would you want to? F-Series You will need to use the automatic MX3 RS torque convertor, and the Automatic throttle body. The Automatics use a 4wire sensor, the Manuals use a 3 wire. The BP has a 60mm throttle body. The B6 uses a 55mm throttle...

Re: Demonic1's "Phoenix" 92 RS BP
The BP still runs. Still doing good. Looking to grab a block and rebuild it over the summer. Then just do a quick swap and be back on the road.
I now own one of these GS ZE thingys.

Re: Locked out! Please help
If you have the manual windows, you should be able to force them down. Stand behind the drivers door and turn to face the front. Place both hands firmly against the middle of the window. Press the glass in towards the cabin lightly (for extra grip) and then apply downward pressure. The window should...
