Re: Josh's AWD Worklog updated 09/25/12 for ROB
bump for updates 8) Oh... This car has been parted and sold... I was convinced months back that BP's were a wast of time and money and real raw power can only be harnessed from an NA KL. In others words boosting cars was cheating, cheep, and an inefficient way of getting power... Furthermore conver...

Re: Demonic1's "Phoenix" 92 RS BP
I guess I haven't updated this thing in a while. These are probably going to be out of order. But here's a bunch of pics with some upgrade listing below. (And probably already seen them if you're on facebook) This is right after I lowered it, next to a beast. The springs hadn't settled yet. http://w...

Re: KLZE - KLG4 crank swap
The last picture, the left side of the crank surface looks like it got some damage from the actual spinning of the bearing. I think I might be screwed. I didn't take any measurements while I had it open. And what kind of nail? Fingernail? I figured that if I pulled/swapped a crank, I should be able ...

KLZE - KLG4 crank swap
So a while back, I bought 2Fazed's old MX-3 GS... It's not in the greatest shape, but it does have a true KL31 KLZE in it. (I know cause I checked and s---) There were issues with the rear valve cover gaskets leaking oil (per normal). I didn't check the oil one day and got in a hurry to go do whatev...

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
Well you're using an off brand switch. I don't know what your mounting options are for them. But they're nice square switches, I'd assume you could just cut slots to mount them.

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
I used late 90s Mazda switches that were similar in design to the ones already in place. I only had to do a small bit of modification to the stock housing and then it fit into the door like it belonged there.
I'll have to hunt down the pictures I took (or take more) and show how it fits.

Yes, ignore the Black wire with the Red stripe.
The Red wire with the Black stripe is still needed though.

I've never done anything with the 94+ setup, but I think it should work as my block diagram shows.
I asked about a blue/black wire in that, but it shouldn't be needed for your setup.

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
Yeah, those are the right ones. My first post has the information for wiring them in.
There is a slight difference between the 92-93 and 94+ switches. My post is for the 92-93 style switches. There's only a slight difference but let me know if you get stuck.

Re: Replacing power window switch with two 6-Pin DPDT switch
Are you using these switches? (I read you other post)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281211516744?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
If so, they're the wrong kind. The ones you need are Dual Pole Dual Throw or "DPDT"

Euro skirts, double stack, drivers power window.
I've been hoarding cool stuff for when I get my GS back on the road, but it doesn't matter if I have no license anymore. Tickets got shuffled through a couple collections agencies and now I've gotta get them paid. Drivers power window switch - 60 + ship Works great. Sold Euro mini skirts - 100 + shi...
