....get an alignment.
Jack up all 4 corners and spin the wheels by hand. See if anything is seizing/dragging. Good time to check ebrake adjustment too.

Re: Cant get the new axle in...
it will come with the c-clip you need, perhaps you should buy a new axle nut. Also, buy the shaft seals for the transmission.
Taking your last line literally, I expect a million 'thanks' in your next post.

Re: Poor idle stalls out
This is almost guaranteed to be an intake leak problem.
Check the accordion tube between the airflow meter and throttle body. It often cracks between the ribs. Air leaking in here bypasses the airflow meter, which causes a bunch of running issues. All of these cars are sensitive to this problem.

Glad it worked out! Its always hardest to diagnose things when people have been tinkering a lot, I had totally forgotten about your bay painting escapade.

I don't know what your parts store calls it, but it wouldn't be called an input shaft.

Re: How is my soldering?
From what I understand these connected have a sort of rivet through them that allows a cone on the other side too, a double sided PCB, such as the second one here: http://www.antex.co.uk/images/betterfig5.jpg Here is post alcohol, excuse the fuzzies. I used the wrong sort of cloth :P I'll have to ge...

thanks for your input!
I'm pretty sure what you're seeing as 'warpage' is just excess flux on the board. I'll wipe it down with grey... no, wait, rubbing alcohol, and I'll snap another photo.

How is my soldering?
Although it says expressly in the MS assembly guide to not let MS be your first attempt at soldering, this is my first attempt to solder anything to a PCB. I'm using a 20w pencil iron and a silver bearing solder (unsure of composition) The main question I have, is if its supposed to 'cone' on both s...

Re: 94 MX-6 ECU and KL-02 VAF question
I found the K8 setup runs like s--- compared to the DE setup. It would cold drown itself on the K8 setup, but feel a bit better under power. The DE setup just runs better overall. Better milage on the DE setup, and it runs within its map, wheras I'm pretty sure the K8 setup just extrapolates stuff/r...

Re: Need some prices for my car and a few more questions ans
Rust is the car equivalent of malignant cancer. Unless you can somehow remove it entirely, it only gets worse, no matter how you patch it. If you have trouble now, it will only get worse. There is no reasonable way around it. (best solution I can think of is to entirely strip the chassis naked, sand...

No one is allowed to buy this on principle. The seller misspelled flexible.
That, and its tacky.

Re: Fuel INj fuse won't stay intact
The white/red wire is the power to many many system components. Most of your sensors and outputs. Aside from chasing it down with a multimeter, component by component (using the diagram to narrow it down faster), you could unplug mostly everything in your engine bay, turn key to ON, and then start p...

I went from the title.
But I suppose you're right. I had assumed he was talking about smoke related to the intake, he doesn't mention exhaust at all in the first post

It's not rocket science
You need to keep the VAF in the airflow, so make it fit with the adapter from the other thread.
