Does anybody know, if the piston rings of KL-DE and KL-ZE are the same?

Re: KL-ZE: straight neck with curved neck im
In Germany we install the KL-ZE curved neck (with KL01-cams), curved neck im, KL31-ECU and JE50-VAF.
I also drive this setup.
But the KL31-cams are giving more power, right?

KL-ZE: straight neck with curved neck im
Hi guys, I have a question to you: Is it possible to install a KL-ZE straight neck (the one with KL-31 cams) with a curved neck intake manifold and KL-31 ECU into a MX-3? Does this version have advantages/disadvantages over a complete KL-ZE curved neck (the one with KL-01 cams) with curved neck inta...

I'll ask for the mirrors on a german MX-6 board. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Maybe we get more information.

The ones of the silver X-3 are longer and not so high. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: mirrors from a MX-6
The mirrors in the ebay-link are the same design like the MX-3 mirrors, aren't they?
They only are power folding.
But I am searching for other mirrors. The mirrors of the silver MX-6 above are my favourite.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

mirrors from a MX-6
Hi guys, I disovered that the MX-6 mirrors fit the MX-3. But there are different versions of the MX-6 mirrors. Do you have any information or picture of mounted MX-6 mirrors on a MX-3? Thank you! Re: KLZE: blue smoke after motor braking
Hi!
I got the results of the compression- and leak down test.
The compression was very good. Approx. 12 bar on every cylinder.
And the leak down test showed also no abnormalities.

Re: Kl-ZE: which spark plugs
Really? Destroied head gaskets?
Because of the other heat range?
But BKR6E-11 are the correct ones for the KL-ZE curved neck?
I drove for about 1.500 km after the swap the KL-plugs. Then I changed to BKR6E-11.
Could these 1.500 km be a problem?

Re: KLZE: blue smoke after motor braking
Normally the compression and leak down test should made yesterday.
Now the car is atthe painter because of the ne front bumper.
So the test is going to be made on monday.

Re: KLZE: blue smoke after motor braking
I think I described the problem in my first post a little bit wrong.
The engine does NOT smoke under load.
It smokes for 1-2 seconds when I press the gas pedal after a period of min. 10 seconds of motor braking.

Re: KLZE: blue smoke after motor braking
But i can't understand this....the engine has 85.000km. Before the winter it runs perfectl, without any oil consuption. But now, after the winter it burns oil. :( What could be changed over the cold winter stand still? I rather think about hardened valve stem seals, or a blocked/broken ventilation s...
