Re: idle and temp problems
What's your oil look like? Throwing any codes? There are easy ways of diagnosing head gaskets. A surging idle can also be caused by a TPS thats way out.

Re: Timingmark on K8 engine?
your more likely to find yellow markings on the cam gears but not so much for the crank pulley (rust). The timing scale is actually on your plastic timing cover (if you have one). The manual is just telling you to check the outer ring, which is closest to the scale.

Re: How To: DIY Power Brake/Clutch Bleeder
It definitley does the job, and well. Not even a single leak from the cap when pressurized. I still have my modded cap but no mx-3 so if someone wanted it, they could just PM me.

How To: DIY Power Brake/Clutch Bleeder
Out of sheer frustration while trying to bleed my own brakes and refusing to pay $50 for a vaccuum/pressure bleeding kit, I decided to take some materials I had at home and some that I purchased from Home Depot, to create my very own power brake bleeder. I built this piece for my 94 mx-3 GS, 2.5L V6...

Re: Clutch won't bleed
I did an atx to mtx swap so as you could imagine, there was absolutely nothing but air in my lines, cmc, and slave. I tried to bleed the line for two days straight, at which point, I got frustrated and left the car in my garage (and forgot to fully close the slave valve). I had a clear tube hooked u...

Re: [WTB] 96 K8 V6 Distiributor
Just to help others that may not know, you should prolly list the part # (TOT57071 or TOT57271 or something like that...). You can find it on the disty itself. Good luck
