Replacing K8 Heads
As opposed to spending the money to have my K8 heads resurfaced and a valve job done, I decided to buy newer heads from someone with a lower mileage K8 (no burning, etc). However, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I am getting myself into? I also bought a nice gasket set to redo the engin...

you do not want the pacesetter exhaust, i had mine for 2 months before all the welds started to rust through, plus it sounds terrible. Definitely agree. The pacesetter exhaust is garbage. It doesn't sound that great and mine rusted out as well. The system even comes with a welded on Polished 3"...

I'm not the most experienced MX-3 owner here by any means but I remeber when purchased my first MX-3 GS a while back. My idle seemed rough and over time, my GS was leaking as well. For your situation, I would take a look at a few things (I could be wrong but maybe this will give you a place to start...

Past and present owner
This past August, I picked up a great deal on an mx-3 for $400! She's a 1994 GS stock that needs some suspension and brake work. It's in my garage currently awaiting her new engine and manual tranny swap. The first car I ever owned was a 1992 GS, tropical emerald back in 2001 but had to sell it bc o...

Sorry about that, I was unclear in my description. the link I posted before was one that showed a single side, that person has an auction for the a second (other side). This link shows the resurfaced: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-MAZDA-MX6-MX3-1-8L-CYLINDER-HEAD-RESURFACED_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQc...

1.8 V6 Cylinder Head
I am considering buying a resurfaced cylinder head with new valve seals for my 94 GS. This may sound dumb (I dont have any experience on the 1.8L internals so bare with me) but are there TWO cylinder heads as it is a DOHC (a right and a left)? The pic of the resurfaced one with the valve job done sh...
