Re: Coolant sensor
there are 2 on the old motor because 1 is for the dash and 1 for the ecm, on the klze it uses just the 1, the 2 wire coolant sensor is for the ecm, the single wire is for the dash gauge, so if you want the dash gauge to work you will need to drill and tap the hole for it.

Mileage is affected by many things, tire diameter, wheel alignment, engine/trans condition, tire pressure etc, on the car side and on your side there is driving habits. If your city mileage is better than your highway then you need to look at the reason why, what speed/gear are you driving at, how m...

Re: Head Lights Dont Work After Big Rain Fall! 1994
the headlight switch turns on the relay, if thats clicking repeatedly then you need to replace the relay. Its a simple circuit, switch, relay, lights, if the switch works fine then its the relay at fault a bump can make a bad relay worse, as for what davis said I think his english needs some work, b...

Re: Stock MX3 GS stalls at 2500RPM
to run the car needs timing, spark, fuel and air. First check for spark, remove a plug insert it back into the plug wire crank it over with the plug end against the engine block and look for spark, if you got none then there is your problem. To check for fuel disconnect the fuel line at the filter, ...

Re: Transmission shifting
time for a fluid/filter change and also what is the condition of the atf fluid, it should be bright red, if its not then change that while your at it as well. The reason you are not getting any shifting until the throttle is applied is that there is insufficient pressure to shift the valves in the v...

Re: Stock MX3 GS stalls at 2500RPM
intake tube leaks for the win, these cars are highly sensitive to vac leaks, so thats probably the major cause of your stall issue, secondly the oil in the intake is a faulty pcv valve replace it. As for the rest troubleshoot once the intake tube leaks are repaired.

Re: 1993 MX-3 V6 ATX Reverse and Neutral not working
sounds like a faulty pcv valve causing the oil in the intake, as for gas smell if you are burning rich then that can cause the fuel smell in the intake. Now onto the questions the transaxle range switch is the neutral safety switch, they are 1 and the same, the transmission range switch is built int...

the bundle going into the passenger side firewall is where the engine harness goes to the computer, in order to get the whole harness you will need to pull the dash but all he really needs is the engine harness as the rest of the wires are pretty much the same inside the car, so all you really need ...

ramps or a jack and jackstands are the best bet, use an old rug or cardboard for cushioning on the back while under the car. when I say manually shifting the gears I mean that you remove the shifter cable from where it connects on top of the trans then have your buddy move the lever on top of the tr...

first things first check for a blown fuse, always start there, when troubleshooting start with the easy stuff and go from there, once you have established that all the fuses are good you need to verify that the headlight switch is working like it should. Next the dimmer switch to test that check the...
